Russian stocks

Would it be possible to get some exposure to the Russian stock market as someone who holds a Western European passport?

I feel like it could be possible to find some undervalued stocks there, especially considering the lack of capital inflow from Western countries and institutional investors not being able to invest there for political reasons, despite attractive valuations.

I made nice gains from one Ukrainian stock, so now I might look into what the Russian market has to offer, especially considering that sanctions might be loosened soon.

Of course it is possible, you need to go to Russia and open a non-resident account. Many ways to fund it with crypto.

Of course. You just need to have a broker which can sell you stocks. Russia has no sanctions for you.

How will he avoid the very recent EU surveillance on every single crypto transaction? Kinda risky assuming he lives there

Many ways to do so. If you use crypto you should have some basic knowledge of privacy related issues.

You can also move fiat if you prefer.

They don't. In normal places, people are considered to be law abiding until proven otherwise, not the other way around.
