Reference letter to open Cyprus bank account, required?

All banks in Cyprus will require a bakers reference letter. We may try with a lawyers reference letter if the law firm you are using is a worldwide recognized and regulated firm.

As what the Admin said from his experience, all banks requires the applicant to submit Reference letters. This is probably to verify the person who wants to user their services.
 
There are a few banks you can find easily with Google search, which may not require reference letters. See the tracks of Forex trading companies that operated with CYSEC.
 
It's your agent, who will manage all required documents including bank reference letter.

I was looking also for this kind of bank because by the past, i have asked my local bank to provide a bank reference letter and they started to ask lots of questions about the people who asked for it.

So if, i would have obtained a bank reference letter, i would have been forced to say it is for a bank in Cyprus and incorporating a company in Cyprus and perhaps also the rationale. That would have been a big problem for my anonymity.
 
You don't need a reference letter for most of the banks in Cyprus if you have the proper agent to introduce you 😉
