Question Has anyone tried the Wise (your Wise account) to another person's Wise account transfer?

@jafo

would be testing that out shortly..

though as per use cases with EMIs, low amount transfers would be a breeze.

Higher figures tend to trigger requests for additional docs, DD, and most cases outright shutdown of acct..

moreso Wise current KYC levels have been amped up, with;
1. oneoff fees of 45£ to activate acct and IBAN features
2. Live KYC procedures
3. 3months banks statements
4. Latest Tax Declaration/clearance
5. 3months Payslip
6. Employment contract/proof of employment
7. Oneoff fee applies to both Biz acct& personal accts.
8. ability to top up acct via debit cards(3Ds/ OTP enabled)

Can anyone quantify what "low amount transfers" are?
<=€1000 every 30 days?
or something else?

recent fully verified acct would cater to 200£-500£ range within a 30day period after first month of functionality.

following months should see a relative increase, to about 800£ range...

with frequent account usage, a slight increase could be achieved within the months following..

though as a point of note, Emis have finnicky tendencies, abit unpredictable and much more... low amounts would do just fine under the radar...

No problems sending small and large transactions between verified accounts (personal/P2P and business/B2B/B2C/C2B) with Wise. Funds arrive within a few seconds, even when there's a currency exchange.

A handful of times, they have asked for supporting documents. Those reviews typically complete within one or two days. They seem to be a bit more relaxed about SOF/SOW checks on internal transactions than when you send/receive to/from other financial institutions.
