Question Dual Passport KYC CRS

Curious to know, if I have two passports one being Russian and another EU, I live in EU and use binance KYCd to my Russian passport. Does the EU automatally get my account and balance data for tax reporting?

No, if you did not tell your "bank" about your EU tax id, they won't be getting the information.

Cyprus are now using the UK to route out Russians, so if you are using a CIB Cyprus passport it might be prudent to obtain a new Citizenship (non Carib/European).

But he is using only the Russian passport. It should work without Cyrpus getting involved, no?

However, some information that can be extracted (if of interest) is place of birth and also the information received by the travel rule if OP sends money between accounts with different passports. Not to say this is checked regularly but in case of some additional investigation, you cannot hide.

The travel rule is more and more getting implemented by crypto exchanges.
