Can anyone advise what bank or Emi in EU (or UK) can offer to open an account for Japanese company? 4 years since foundation, same person director and ubo. Most financial institutions require documents like good standing certificate, shareholders register etc but there are no such documents in Japan (and this is stated in open sources but banks ignore it and keep asking). And this is big problem. Ideal would be company that can offer international local accounts (IBAN, GBP account and USD account, maybe AUD). In Japan only Wise offers such service, but it has numerous limits and restrictions. Please advise if anyone happens to know.

You can try approach small EMIs, try PaysTree for instance of Emerald24. Try Czech Republic.

probably too late for you but I used MUFG a few years ago. They have offices in Europe and only cater towards companies, no private accounts. MUFG in Roppongi helped me to arrange everything
