I need a setup that means I can accept card payments (subscriptions).

Either, the payment processor won't respond to baseless intimidation from a corporation (I think Stripe would give in easily)

Or

I can set up with fake information and easily switch to a new payment processing account if something happens (and subscriptions can be transferred too)

Or even a payment processor that allows offshore companies might be helpful too.

What business are you into and is this a new business or can you provide a processing history?

New business - a software subscription. My problem is I have seen similar companies (2 that I know) have closed down recently, I think because of intimidation from a large corporation. I don't want to describe it publicly, but I could PM details if it helps. I don't consider it illegal, nor do my lawyers, but it will upset one corporation in particular, one who have too many resources to fight anything.

There are companies who do the same thing for many years (6+), but I don't know how they have managed that.

Maybe an offshore company with nominees with an offshore bank + a merchant account and if the merchant has problems with complaints and wants to drop us as a client then we can switch to a new provider? All funds could be sent from the offshore company to a normal onshore company with no profit remaining there?

That's possible for sure.

That could work for you. You will need to make sure the nominees will provide passport copy, utilitybill and some other documents the MAP will require.
