Online notary

For EU I used Digidentity | Digital Identity Made Easy and https://www.namirial.com/en/- both automated signature verified that with an annual subscription between Eu 60 - Eu 80 (that was a while ago, numbers may have changed). They give you unlimited number of documents you sign by yourself once you are verified and they are deemed notarized meaning your signature is considered to be notarized but only for EU. I had used both a number of time mostly for signing a court documents to be used in Europe.

Once set up - and in both cases the respective onboarding processes leave much to be desired - it works very well, usually under 2 min per signature. Note that both provide a number of other services as well.

Digidentity is Dutch and Namirial is Italian based. Digidentity has customer service center in UK, Namirial in Italy so when calling Namirial one has to ask upfront for an English speaking agent unless one speaks Italian.

Hope this helps.

Digital signature is accepted in many countries, but it's not the same thing as a notarization. It's certainly convenient, provided you manage to set up one.

If you need to authenticate a document as a true copy of the original you will always have to show it to a notary, either in person or virtually.

I stand corrected, the digital signature provided by the 2 abovenamed companies for my digital signature accepted by any EU state, in my specific case company-related documents and agreements. Thanks Johnny!
