I too can't get hold of Fred.
This is so unusal that something serious must have happened. So I say - let him have the peace he needs, before he may be ready to announce something himself.
For the tax rumours:
It is rather simple: accounting and filing now is mandatory. Audit only if you are above a certain level. 0-375,000/year = tax at 0%. Above, some 9% of the PROFITS. So many ways to reduce profits in a company. No need to panic.

I don't think you guys need to panic, in UAE there are changes of primary importance, and Fred is most likely taking time to assess things diligently and strategically rather than run errands and reply with half accurate answers when things aren't still 100% clear.
