Does it make easier or more difficult to open a business bank account when there is a nominee director.

I have heard from a registered agent that it was easier because the bank already knew the nominee director.

What do you think?

It depends, if the nominee director is working for the same consultancy corp that is going to register your company and open the bank account it's at least not more complicated, to say that it is easier I don't know, it requires the same signatures almost and the same bank application.

thanks I was confirmed that my agent's nominees are known to the banks they work with 😉

If the agent you're using to open the bank account has nominees already known to the Cyprus bank you don't need to worry if it is easier or more complicated, because then it's the same. If you appoint "external" nominees that are unknown to the banks you get lots of questions and they will request lots of documents!
