I got informed that it was good idea to setup nominee director and shareholder for my company! I don't understand what they are. We are 6 that will own shares in same company who will be nominee?

Nominee directors and shareholders are persons supplied by or through the company which sets up your company. It will be their names on all of the company documents and government listings.

aha - so when I get nominees I don't get all my partners as shareholder too?

You, your partners, and nominees could in theory all act as shareholders and/or directors together. However, nominees are most commonly used as a way to keep the true owners' names hidden from the records.

You can find a detailed description of what nominees are here Offshore Company Forum - Nominee director and shareholder.
