New Zealand LLP Reviews?

Hello,

Anyone mind sharing feedback about New Zealand LLP?

- Would it work well as a wrapper for personal investments held outside NZ? I already have a few UK LLPs for the same purpose, and would prefer to diversify and segregate liability exposure to different jurisdictions at this point.
- I also notice that typical NZ LLP fees are at 2.5K USD which is significantly higher than the UK, US or CA for seemingly identical benefits. Is there a benefit behind this price point? What makes it worthwhile?

I believe there are no NZ LLPs, though there are LPs and LLCs.

Would be interested to hear more ... in case I am ignorant on this matter.

I suppose you're talking about NZ LLC, not NZ LLP. Specifically, you want the Look-Through Company (LTC) regime.

The qualifications to be an LTC are not as easy as a US LLC or UK LLP. The LTC needs to be tax resident in New Zealand.
