I don't think location makes much of a difference in management needs or style. Tax advantages are the only "difference" between a "local" company versus an "offshore" company.

Well you forget the assets protection which is much better in offshore companies than in a "local company" it makes it difficult for authorities to issue a court order to get their hands on the assets 🙂
