Money Market Accounts

I've been told about money market accounts and CD's. Some of my former bosses that were deca-millionaires told me that they kept their money in these or with wealth management firms.

Would you be kind enough to recommend some options to research?

Or, if you have some recommendations that would be fantastic.

Why did you not asked your bosses for who they use or if they could recommend one or two for you?
