The best wallet for the best crypto is here: Monero.com by Cake wallet

"Monero is the gold standard in private digital payments"
Nothing can be more true.

And if you want a Monero wallet that respects your privacy without making you suffer for it, Cake’s Monero.com wallet 5.2.0 nails it.

The main upgrade is Ledger support on desktop. Plug in, sign, done.
Network reliability has been improved: automatic switching between trusted nodes plus improved connectivity means faster, smoother syncs and fewer stalls when the network is busy.
The interface is exactly what a privacy wallet should be: modern, clean, simple. The 5.2.0 release implements UI improvements that make daily use snappier without dumbing anything down.

Of course it's all open-source and non-custodial, available across mobile and desktop, so you actually control your keys across platforms. You can verify it yourself: https://github.com/cake-tech/cake_wallet/releases

If you hold XMR (and it would be stupid not to) and care about privacy, this version is the one to use.

I do like it on mobile but idk I find the company behind it to be a little sketchy (but understandable due to their involvement with Monero would likely put a target on their back). I prefer the normal GUI wallet (local node not connecting to one online) on desktop or feather wallet (which does also have a shared node by default AFAIK).

The code seems fine, I don’t think we should worry. Anyway there are no better alternatives for mobile.

It’s very nice but slow if you don’t keep it connected all the time.

The UI is quite archaic but nothing wrong with it
