Canada and Australia where they prohibited their citizens from leaving and or entering the country - great democrasies. The way Canadina goverment dealt with the truckers movement is another example of a non democratic behaviour.

What you say is entirely correct. But when you compare the freedom of those countries (which is rapidly declining) to the lack of freedom in countries like Russia and China, it is like comparing heaven and hell.
