I'm currently the Director of a UK Ltd company and running a consultancy business, making me a permanent tax resident in the UK. My Ltd has a turnover of around £150k, and I distribute income via salary and dividends to stay within the lower dividend tax bracket.
I'm in the process of setting up a new business that will focus on hardware sales, preferably based in an EU country. Estonia seems particularly appealing. I understand that the UK has tax treaties in place and that I will still be taxed in the UK on any additional income from overseas.
Currently, I am paying around £200 / month for simple accounting services, all managed through Xero. I am looking to switch to an accountant who is more experienced with UK Ltd companies that have investments in other countries and provide on top of my UK bookkeeping also tax advise.
Could you recommend an accountant who fits this profile?
