You need to provide more information if you want concrete help.
What types of investments,‌ assets, or businesses are you considering, and in which jurisdictions?
The countries you can choose‍ from are heavily influenced by these factors, as you would need a country with a good DTA .
Off the top of my head, I would suggest New Zealand:
- Strong DTA
- Recognizes most Qualifications from Canada
- 48 months tax exemption on foreign⁤ income
- Good weather
- Part of the Commonwealth
- Common Law (important if you⁣ have trusts, etc.)

Sounds like Switzerland
-great educational system
-top notch health care︆ system (I have spent 5 days at a hospital in Zurich, can confirm)
-strong business︇ environment, sure
-immigration possible, yeah with money totally possible
-can brush up French if needed︈ - yeah but you dont want to live in the French-speaking part of Switzerland, thats︉ like the socialist part with higher taxes

Or Ireland, there you get English speaking culture,︊ but little bit worse on everything else compared to Switzerland. You can be non-dom though,︋ which is great if you have assets outside Ireland as there would be no tax︌ on these.

Maybe Singapore which is up there in terms of education, health care and︍ business environment, and they speak English even if it's not quite an English culture. Problem︎ with Singapore is that immigration is difficult.

Or finally the UAE, English speaking, super-international, by️ far the easiest immigration of all these countries. Very good health care, good business environment‌ (but not good jobs market), decent education, but maybe one doesnt want one's children to‍ have uni degrees from the UAE, but they can be sent to study elsewhere. Best tax wise of the bunch. Got to handle the heat in the summer though or⁤ spend the summers elsewhere.

I do a large amount of IT︀ consulting, MSP-style hosting services. I'd be looking to invest in more companies in the same︁ industry.

why not Paraguay as suggested‌ in many other threads, serios it may be good for his situation or not?

He would need to learn Spanish.‍ There are good English-speaking schools, but the general culture is very Spanish-speaking.

I had a sit on it, and I suppose I could go to the US‌ as well. It does somewhat meet my criteria, I am just concerned it would impact‍ my taxability with my US business.

Part of the commonwealth.. I'd say Cyprus. Eduction wise your kids could do private schools‌ and most Cypriots actually go abroad for university to Greece, USA, Australia, Canada (see the‍ common theme; language and or commonwealth countries).
