I'd like to edit some of my posts to update information but there's a 5-minute edit allowance.

If this can't be removed altogether, which I recommend, increase it to at least 30 days.

Why would you need to edit a thread within 30 Days?

Helps keep the forum clean, offering better user experience, particularly for unregistered readers.

When other members add useful details or corrections, I'd like to give credit and add quotes/corrections to original post. It's not very practical if the reader gets 95% of the solution from original post, but then has to spend an hour to go through dozens of other posts to get that last 5% which could be highly relevant.

Thank you, guys, for your feedback. I can't see any point to edit for 30 days other than people can delete sentences, so the entire thread don't make any sense.

You are welcome to PM me links or names to forums which allow unlimited editing time or 30 days editing time so I will have a deeper look into it.

For now, I have set the edit time for normal registered users to 15 minutes and 30 minutes for Business Angel users.
