Is this the end of UAE Offshore?

It seems that UAE and other 6 Gulf countries are about to introduce VAT from beginning of 2018.

Is this the end of UAE offshore? what do the most experienced guys think?

UAE was always on my list of possible offshore destination but now I'm not that sure anymore.

Seems they are slowly bow to pressure from the rest of the world. Exactly as I assumed it would be 🙂 Sadly for all the people that were incorporating their business there without to move there!
