I do no know of a guide as such but a series of very well written articles on how to buy, hold and spend Crypto (anonymously) can be found on the SparrowWallet website. SparrowWallet is an open source, non custodial wallet and their literature is very well written, although it specific to Bitcoin. For more general advice I would suggest looking at privacytools and privacyguide, the section about crypto generally.
I'm looking for the same as the OP, just have the opposite need: bringing crypto to the "real world".
There are people here that could potentially help with that, always dependent on the particular circumstances of your situation. Do a search and you will find them. As always, do your due diligence first. Someone that might help or at the very least offer some sound advice would be @JohnnyDoe.
So if you really have so much money either in crypto or in EUR/GBP, then it's not difficult to get it exchanged for one or the other. There are countries like Dubai, Switzerland, Cyprus, and some others that allow crypto to be used for payments for houses, cars, various luxury items, etc. You must get on a plane and seek it out, you can't always sit in front of a screen and think that you can solve it that way.
Granted, you can get inspiration from here, but in my opinion, action takes place in the real world.
