What see the advantages / disadvantages of malasyan company vs 0% offshore?

Is accounting / reporting required if no business is done in malasya?

Does incorporation / yearly maintanance expansive? (Hong Kong style)

do the directors / managers / UBO shown on pubic records!

Can the UBO be an entity?

Do you mean mainland Malaysia vs Labuan?

Malaysia has a territorial tax system, similar to Hong Kong. Only income accrued in or derived from Malaysia are taxed.

No. At least not last time I checked.

UBO can never be an entity, unless it's listed on a reputable public stock market.

This is the probably the answer to your question.

A Malaysian company can't (easily) be non resident as in HK.
Also, Labuan have global taxation, also foreign source income is taxable.

And, Malaysia now taxes foreign source income when remitted to Malaysia.

Also yes all Malaysian entities with owners, managers and financial records are on public record and can be accessed for a small fee via website.

The only thing in our line of interest that Malaysia had to offer was Labuan, which was basically killed off in 2016 when they changed taxation and fees. I did Labuan in 2014 and even then it was already more work and complications than it was worth to go through.

A local LLC/SDN BHD has absolutely zero advantages over incorporating in literally any random EU or US state, as the process is tedious, slow, difficult for foreigners and taxation is high.
