Is it possible to buy (US) stocks using the IB platform and a Seychelles/Belize IBC?

Yes, but they require proof of address for the IBC and funding from a same‌ name account.

Hmm okay. I guess I should go for‍ a corporation account? What about principal place of business?

Even if you go for a business account they will still ask for proof of‌ address. At that point either you have a running office in Seychelles/Belize or you will‍ have to provide the address of the UBO of the IBC.
