Why do some agents require you to send documents in original copy?

I have my company almost completed and in the bank process the agent wants me to send the passport and proof of address notarised and sent in hard copy, saying it is what the banks require.

Anyone know why they want the document in hard copy if they can print it themselves?

Are they looking to spot something?

Can I just print it and send it to them?

If you have a way around this please share.

Well, that's what some agents require, most often it is because you are using a reseller that is not authorized to confirm the documents to be a true copy.

There is no workaround it, you may print the docs and send to them, once done, cross your fingers they don't figure out what they received.

I have seen agents asking for originals often lately. But when they ask they are still asking you to make a copy of the original. What I think they will check is if the copy has a original stamp or it is a print. If the latter they will ask you to send a copy with the original stamp from the notary. Thats where the trouble begins.
