I have an⁤ account with Sabadell and BankInter, want to stick to Spain but I’m not happy with⁣ those two. Can you help? What’s the process?

What is the minimum deposit to open the bank account?

No, we‌ do not work with Santander. Also please note that this type of accounts requires you‍ to live in Spain to contract (take a look at the pic attached)

Regarding bank fees, consider‌ typical fees for multi-currency accounts, which usually range 20-30 euros per month. We would need‍ to conduct a compliance report (AML, KYC, etc.) with our teams to ensure adherence to bank requirements and local regulations.
There is no minimum deposit required from the bank side.⁤

In any case, it would be beneficial to understand your specific circumstances to provide the⁣ best advice. Please feel free to DM us for further guidance.

Please share the info in PM
What is the name⁢ of this bank and what are the benifits to work with you
Thanks

I am living now in Spain, and what I found for any bank account that‌ I tried to open, is that the person has not the Spanish NIE, the banks‍ refuses to open the bank account. In case banks opening bank account for NO Spanish residents but EU residents, I am not sure; as per google consults they said that⁤ is possible; what some clients tested was not possible.. This is only a comment, nothing⁣ 100% sure!

Well, there is certain EU regulation saying that any EU citizen is entitled to⁤ have (in a particular EU member country) one so called (IIRC) basic account, especially if⁣ he/she lives in that country. In certain countries (e.g. France) it seems to be really⁢ enforced. No clue about Spain, though.
@CALAY, could you comment, as a person knowledgeable︀ of the Spanish environment?

Dear All,

This morning, I will personally call to three Spanish Banks.

What I am‌ 110% sure, in case you could get a non resident bank account in Spain, you‍ will need the Spanish NIE.

Kind regards
AdH

Regarding banking in Spain, we closely‍ work with partner local high streets banks. Indeed, we prepare with our teams a compliance file on the format requested that we later on submit. I would say that for⁤ EU passport holders (company directors), the process is straightforward, requiring to conduct AML, KYC and⁣ black lists ("lista de morosidad") clearance -nor a NIE (spanish residency) nor a NIF (spanish⁢ tax number) are compulsory- . Regarding the corporate entity, we would need detailed documentation (including︀ the incorporations documents and the financial statements if available). We are able to process through︁ with a wide range of conventional trading activities. Although, "High risk" operations would have to︂ be taken on case by case basis, and the same applies to company directors holders︃ of non-EU countries. We can proceed with banking both remotely and in branch directly upon︄ request.

I would like to emphases that those are general information , we would need︅ to study the file in order to provide a tailored guidance.

Feel Free to DM.︆

Regards.

Forget it, I've been trying to get an account in Spain for 5 years. It's‌ impossible. Santander costs 16€ a month which is too much. They stress you with KYC‍ and want tax declaration and income proof which I don't have.

Feel free to send us more info on your case, we would be glad⁤ to try to help you.
