So for a good business friend I moved forward and created / registered a Republic of Gerogia company using a service from a guy here on the forum.

I handled the entire process which was very easy.

After the registration which only took 1 business day everything looks fine I received the digial scans (2 documents only) chartered / partner agreement for the Limited Liability company (LLC) & Extract from the registry from where you can see the director, shareholder and all this stuff.

That's the only two documents I got, compared to a Seychelles or other offshore company I have created before it is almost nothing.

Anyway, so far so good. It is worth to mention that your name (director and shareholders name) is fully public, means you can't hide behind the company without a nominee director and shareholder which is in total EUR 1400 extra per year.

My friend does not know what he is going to do. Banking was impossible without personal visit, so we created a TransferWise account for the company, got account approved within a few hours all cool.

Finally, we are there, took less than 1 day to get it all setup after they received the notarized and apostilled passport and utility bill in Georgia, that proces took all in all 10 business days 🙁

It is possible to lookup a company using this link the service provider says: Registry of entrepreneurial and non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities - so far I can't lookup the company but believe it takes a few days then.

All in All a good, fast and reliable process.

After 1 day only, SPAM hit's my friends inbox, mass spam, so you better provide a e-mail address that you won't need and can close, it's spam from various services in Georgia selling accounting services, stamps and even website listings. It looks like everything is legal and public in Georgia.

BTW: I paid EUR 600 for the company registration which includes the documents send to me (my friend) by courier. We are still waiting for the apostille before the docs get send.

Hope this can be of help for someone, feel free to post your comments.

The spam thing is same like when you setup a company in Switzerland. You get junk mail from scammers etc that all looks official with invoices telling you that you need to pay put your company in some official telephone book, website or some nonsense...all BS....lol. Be careful.
