I think $400 is to much for opening a US LLC, Northwest will only charge you $125 + state fees and they also has mail forwarding for a year. The EIN is easy to get just like the Mercury account.
Used these guys to form New Mexico LLC - NEW MEXICO REGISTERED AGENT | $35 A YEAR - good service and price. EIN and Mercury account are easy to get, don't need to use any service for that.
Get the SS-4 form from IRS website, fill it out and fax it to 304-707-9471. It's interesting that FAX is still a thing in the US, but luckily there are tons of mobile apps for that purpose 😉 I stated my registered agent address on the application (they scan and forward correspondence) and received my EIN confirmation letter from IRS within 5 weeks.
