Online spending in the UK is set to more than double, to £21.3 billion, by the end of 2011 as Brits turn to the Internet for deals during the recession, according to a report commissioned by PayPal.

Now it looks like PayPla got an authoritie and de factor standard for such figures, what about all the people which just use Visa or MC for pyaments of their vacation or other products they buy.... anyone that have this figures?

Think paypal is just making a projection. I am not certain people actually use their credit cards more online then things like paypal which offers little more anonymity
