You first check if they are European based company, if so, reporting take place, so‌ there is no need to open a thread.

If they are based outside of Europe‍ you can open a thread and ask.

Are they considered as a financial institution like a bank ?

If it is⁠ a recognized financial service, then it is certainly a significant oversight not to link to⁤ the license for providing this service. For me, that’s a strict NO GO, underlined. Amateur.⁣

But since it’s an American site, at least based on what we can see, it’s⁢ FATCA that applies and not CRS – but don’t think that you can’t be reported︀ if the authorities in your country request information from them.
