Industrial turnover in Cyprus increased 8.4% year-on-year in November, faster than the 1.7% rise recorded in October, the Statistical Service of the Republic of Cyprus revealed Monday.
Industrial turnover in the domestic market grew 5.5%, after dropping 0.1% in the previous month. Turnover in the export market surged 31.4% year-on-year, following an 18.5% increase in October.
Turnover in the manufacturing sector advanced 5.8% annually in November, reversing a 2.9% fall in last month. Mining and quarrying turnover climbed 11.5% during the month, faster than the 3% growth seen in October.
In the January-November period, industrial turnover rose 4% from the corresponding period a year ago.
