Cyprus, located at the north-eastern part of the Mediterranean, is often said to be at the crossroads of Europe and Asia.

The legal system in Cyprus is based on British law, and all statutes regulating business matters are based on English Common law. Cyprus is an important offshore and onshore business centre, with great business facilities. This has lead to the formation of thousands of offshore companies in Cyprus. Since Cyprus is very well-connected by air, and has a great communications network, it is also a very convenient place for company formation.

Cyprus Company formation has several tax advantages: There is only a 10% declared corporate profit tax, and dividends to shareholders are free. Double tax treaties have also been signed between Cyprus and 38 other countries including Ukraine and Russia. Nominee services allow the owner of the Cyprus Company to remain anonymous. The inclusion of Cyprus into the European Union (EU) has made Cyprus Company Formation attractive from the tax perspective.

Although there is a reasonably high occurrence of corruption as well as a lack of competitive spirit among companies, Cyprus Company Formation is still an advisable alternative as a Cypriot company is ideal for investment purposes. It is important, however, to hold a bank account in Cyprus, before undertaking company formation in Cyprus. Because of the beneficial business laws, Cyprus Company Formation is reliable, as both onshore and offshore companies are now taxed on the same basis.

There are, very honestly, little or no reports of dissatisfaction among those who have risked company formation in an island-country like Cyprus. The laws imposed by the Government ensure that such business ventures undertaken by entrepreneurs all over the world, are given sufficient benefits and incentives that will further motivate them to contribute towards the Cypriot economy. Cyprus Company formation is by no means a difficult job. Sufficient assistance is provided by the Cyprus Company Formation Agency (CCFA).´

Company formation in Cyprus can be used to take maximum advantage of the double tax treaties existing between Cyprus and the 38 other companies. The combination od such double tax treaties, an the low tax regime has made Cyprus Company Formation a preferred option among budding entrepreneurs.

good luck , ireland got 5 banks, cyprus got none, banking is a nightmare -‌ so think before you do anything

Cyprus is not that bad, you just need an introducer for the bank account opening.‌ The rules may be the same in Cyprus as in Ireland, you will need substance‍ for your company.

Companies are not non-domiciled. You are non-domiciled if you have not lived in Cyprus for‌ 17 years or weren't born in Cyprus to Cypriot parents.

Lots of options on the‍ market. Speak with the two members you mentioned.

No one is the best. No one is perfect. But those are some popular options. There are many more.

Would you recommend any company service⁤ provider in Larnaca or Paphos?
In those two towns there's an airport and logistically are⁣ more convenient if someone has little time.

Paphos airport is tiny and there is almost nothing going on over there in terms of international business. It's a dead zone. Very popular with British retirees⁤ and tourists. Not much else happening on that side. There's a bit more going on⁣ in Larnaca. While it's still far behind Nicosia and especially Limassol, it's an up and⁢ coming city.

If you go to Cyprus and want to be where international businesses take︀ place, your choice is to live in Limassol or live in your car because you're︁ going to be commuting to Limassol for meetings so much. Unless you work in aviation︂ or travel monthly or more, you're probably going to spend less time occasionally driving to︃ Larnaca Airport from Limassol than you would driving to Limassol if you base yourself in︄ Larnaca.

However, if you absolutely want someone in Larnaca, there some noteworthy service providers there.︅

There are corporate service providers (audit/accounting firms) in Paphos but they︆ mostly cater to local businesses.

Opening a company is a very ordinary service, nothing special about it.
With a bank‌ account it may be more difficult, but there are hardly many Cypriot lawyers who can‍ do magic and bypass the banking bureaucracy.

Therefore, any of the Cypriot lawyers on the forum or those recommended by Sols will do the usual work.
Just choose by price⁤ and those who will respond adequately.

Here it is rather necessary to understand the mentality⁣ of these guys. If you order long-term services from them, or some problems begin to⁢ appear, you should expect unreliability on their part, excessive slowness, empty words and promises without︀ results.
i.e. their work results/services need to be monitored/checked and you need to be ready︁ to change the company if yours has become too lazy or does not provide the︂ agreed services in the required quality/volume.
