Country restrictions on forming offshore company are there any?

Ive been reading that some offshore jurisdiction have restrictions on the citizen ship of a person that want to register a offshore company, do you know about this?


Can you list the offshore countries that may have such restrictions please?


Does Cyprus, Gibraltar, Panama or Seychelles have such?

I know that some may have restrictions on Iran and other countries with international embargoes.‌

Exactly, most often it is not the company registration that‍ will be a problem but when the offshore company requires a bank account issues will⁠ start the same for contracting with partners, customers etc.

Somalia and Iran are defiantly two countries that won't be accepted by any bank for‌ account opening 🙂

I have not seen any post anywhere about someone from a specific country has been‌ disallowed to register a offshore company:drama:

Never heard of anyone had difficult to open a offshore company. Banking may be different.‌

Never mind, it is not a issue for a offshore company it is the offshore‌ bank account 🙁
