Hello,


i am at the last stages of executing a company in Belize from a trip i recently made. I need to operate a payment gateway for my e-commerce site and would like to have an offshore european bank account to have my funds but also make it easy for my EU customers to send payments via IBAN as well.


Basically i am interested in merchant account in offshore bank with offshore payment gateway and debit card to access my funds if possible anonimous.


I would like to know what would be your best recomendation, what would be the cost of such set up and the regular fees for these services once set.

We can help you with the opening of a bank account in Cyprus, they have and maintain the banking secrecy and accept Belize companies for account opening, The fee for this service is EUR 650 + 60 courier charges for Debit Card and PIN's.


It is not possible to get a payment gateway for facilitating credit card processing for a Belize company, we can only help with this for Cyprus and BVI companies, that's part of the banks requirements. We can help to setup companies in such jurisdictions if required.

Thanks for your fast reply. I am only a bit concerned about the safety and secrecy of Cyprus since not too long ago they suffered the freezing of bank accounts and many people seem to have fled somewhere else because of it.


I do want to use the company to be able to charge debit and credit cards thru some type of merchant account in whatever offshore jurisdiction otherwise it would have been pointles to open it. I saw your company is set in Belize. I found banks certaintly arent very e-commerce reayd or friendly and the one who i know offered it treated me very badly so i took my business elsewehre.


Even ?do the company is set in Belize, isnt there any other place where i can link a merchant account to it?

As I mentioned, we are unable to open any merchant account for a Belize company, we will have to incorporate the company in either BVI or Cyprus, for banking we can also go with Mauritius Banking, the payment gateway and merchant account provider with which we have partnered has no issues to send the money to a bank account in Mauritius.


Honestly the problems with the banks in Cyprus, was the smaller one, as you may noticed, Bank of Cyprus and Piraeus Bank Cyprus survived all of it and are doing well and are stable banks, you may do some background check on this.

The company is already registered and we only have to execute our signatures but i am trying to understand if i can use my company aborad theu e-commerce anywhere in the world, otherwise , for my purpose, it would be a waste of my time and resources having created such company.
