Citi bank Dubai?

Hello, someone told me that Citi bank is a good solution for personal bank account in Dubai (international bank so less strict than local banks for compliance).
Do you have any feedback or any connection there?

Where does that idea come from? international bank less strict than local bank.

Depends on what you are looking for.

Faster Transactions due to own Correspondence Banks within same Banking Group and better FX rates you can get for sure however for sure the international Banks are having more pressure on a international stage compared to the local UAE Banks.

With other words:

If you claim Dubai as your Residence while remain living in a high tax country - don't use such banks.

If you are living full time in Dubai or have sorted your Residence somewhere in Asia - use such banks - why not.
