Case use for replica ID

My genuine passport from country X is rubbish: the picture is badly printed (you can't really see details of my face) and the laminate is very shiny. Result is that when I have to go through automatic KYC, I spend hours trying to pass it, taking many pictures until I eventually find the right angle for a decent pic.
How I solved the issue: I bought a replica passport with the same data of the original that looks way better. Now KYC is a walk in the park.
I am sure that others have encountered the same problem, so this is a possible solution.

Johnny, why didn't you just clear up a high DPI scan of your passport with Photoshop? Isn't that a better/easier solution?

You can't use scans with most of KYC companies, they want live photos and selfies.

Btw I really did that and I challenge anyone to pick the genuine passport (in fact everyone always picks the replica one as genuine).

If a replica ID from Australia was used for a London Company/EMI, and the replica ID was all rubbish info, would the London company be able to figure out?

Between UK, Australia, and Canada, what would be the best replica ID country to use for the above situation?

No private company can check data of an ID. They only check if the ID itself contains the security features.

You can get cheap replicas from China, the risk you run is that they catch it in custom. Better find some people in the Baltics or whatever is close to and where they can do such work for low.

Very much not true, sorry to say so. If they to checks, which they do the most, you get caught.

true they stepped up now, it's difficult to fake the video verification services. That also increased the costs for ID sets 🙁
