I'm looking for reliable brokers that meet the following criteria:
  1. Accept residents of the UAE with a Russian passport stupi#21.
  2. Not registered in the EU (UK is Ok).
  3. Trade ETFs and bonds.
  4. Suitable for long-term investments - buy and forget for several years.
  5. Low or preferably no custody fees.
Interactive Brokers fits all these requirements perfectly, but I'm looking for alternatives

Sometimes it is sufficient a letter from a lawyer to amend the entry.

If what WorldCheck says about you is so bad and can't be adjusted, then you need to resort to a new identity or a nominee.

By diversifying you only increase the chances of encountering troubles.

A trouble he may find, but the options will be independent from one another. Therefore, if one of them fails, it won't affect others. Whereas, if the only option fails, this will become a real trouble.

And it already has, that's why he's asked the question. 😛

IBKR is the best and you will better manage your portfolio if it's not split between various platforms.

At this very moment, the mentioned risk from IBKR has materialized; they have started closing accounts of russian passport holders regardless of residency. So the issue is relevant once again.

Btw for ukrainian passport holders as I know there is the same problem, only IB and some shitty Cyprus brokers, but this is not a solution
