I considered Bilderlings EMI a few months ago but never followed through with it due to high fees. Recently I received an email from a rep there with the following image that says NO CRS reporting.

I emailed the account rep asking to clarify this and got the reply that "Yes, we do not report CRS".

What's your opinion about this, gentlemen?
Are Bilderlings full of s**t or could they indeed not be reporting CRS.

Wow slap bang on their homepage they have a No CRS image. That's really asking for trouble. That's like a gold shop explicitly advertising "We take 500 euro notes all day long".....just wow.

Company is run by Latvians:

BILDERLINGS PAY LIMITED - Officers (free information from Companies House)

You will want to read their financial report and strategy. Seems they want UK companies as "the dominating customer group" due to Brexit concerns 😕. Don't know if you want a business or personal account but this EMI like most EMI's aint making no money and this one seems desperate. They got the marketing wrong and are acting like an old school Latvian Bank. They might as well replace "No CRS" with "We take dirty money". It's the same thing really....lol.

The below site tells me all I need to know. Seems this is just payment processing for HNWI and you will just be one of the cover customers for this Russian operation.

Bilderlings - international group of companies

They are in fact being ran by former RIetumu executives 🙂

Well that would explain a lot if so. I was looking at their fees and they are THIEVES like Rietumu. They charge 1000 euros for:

"Commission fee for failing to provide the full extent of information and documentation by the deadline specified in the request"

I can tell you there business model right now - basically by attracting clients who want to avoid CRS they can simply steal money from those clients knowing they could never complain to police or authorities...lol.

The group offers Trust services and wealth management. Using Bilderlings Pay in UK to hold money they are basically creating non-CRS reportable structures for wealthy CEE clients is my guess ca#"!.

@pipona I would personally avoid. It has all indications of a Russian laundromat with some side clients as yourself needed as cover. When UK eventually catches what they are up to your money will be frozen for ages like epayments while they fix AML/KYC issues 😉.

Thanks very much Martin -- it's great to have you around here. Those UK financial statements are very interesting indeed.

To be fair, the non-CRS claim was in an email, not blatantly on their website, but it was still a bold enough move to shock me.

looks like a Peskov family business, is that the Rietumu guy?

It was BLATANTLY on their website as I said. The "No CRS" claim was on the front page of their website down and to the left i.e a big CRS logo with a strike right through it. How come they just removed this image in last few days since my last post? That's very very fishy and not a coincidence. Why did they just remove it just now? ca#"!

Right that! They are the same executive officers from Rietmu Bank, so @pipona better don't put your money in there. Besides, I'm just guessing if BlueOrange Bank is run by the same people?
