So have been doing some reading on various forms of asset protection and stumbled upon Belize LLC's.
It seemed unlike a Belize trust one had more control of ones assets over a trust that is formed in a not so trustworthy proven jurisdiction, but then I stumbled on the fact there has been recent changes to the LLC laws in Belize and I wonder what everyone's opinion of what this means for one who has established or was looking to establish a Belize LLC for asset protection?
What was you opinion of their LLC laws before and now after?
How weakened has these changes made their LLC's?
Greatly increase the costs?
I find very little commentary on line in regards to the subject, so i was looking for input on the opinion of experts (or knowledgeable) out here.
