They jus charged my I account a 158,33 euro Security Code Fee I don't know what this is about and why they charged this fee aprox 3 months after the account opening!

If it has something to do with the token device or banking package I received from them they should have charged it from the beginning. It seems to me that they spoon feed themself and just take as they like.

For now I have adressed the question to their support will be waiting for their answers.

If someone here knows about what this is, please post.

You want to wait until tomorrow to get an answer. Today is Sunday so they won't get back to you!

Check this that I got from BoC:

Regarding your query, please note that the Security Codes fee is an annual fee charged for the ability given to IBU corporate clients to use the secure coding system of the bank in order to access securely information through internet banking and to codify payment and other instructions via, 1Bank electronically, by fax to the branch and with original instructions.

With the implementation of the new Bank's Price List as of 17 October 2016, the Security Fee ceases to apply as form 17 October 2016. The fee charged is the amount corresponding to the relative period (01/01/2016v ”“ 17/10/2016).

For any further clarifications you may contact your account branch directly.

For more information on our charges you may view the «Commission & Charges» table available online at Commissions&Charges(in effect) - Bank of Cyprus Country

Seems they charged this fee for the last time this year 🙁

I got informed they don't charge it any longer. I contacted by branch as they required and asked them to refund me for at least 6 month because I find it unfair to be charged to "new customers".

However it is going I think fees like this is the price to pay to stay below the radar!
