Are they internet marketing friendly / accpeting it?


Ancoria Bank Ltd is a newly established Cyprus bank, licensed, registered and supervised by the Central Bank of Cyprus. We offer a range of personal and business banking products and services you can access online or from our Banking Centres in Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca.

They are very new as it seems, not sure if they are a lefover of any other bank from the past. However, worth to have a look at.

Ancoria was in Cyprus as an insurance company. Now they expanded to banking sector as well. They hired and hiring a lot of people. It offers various services to local and international clinets. You can open a bank account after they will perform the necessary KYC procedures. If your earnings are legal/clear there is no problem to open a new account.

No, you can open a bank account either by yourself or through an introducer. There are some KYC procedures. Most important is the sources of income.

Not sure if this is useful info but I just received reply from them that they do not offer international banking services. FYI I tried to open a business bank account for my UK company. Was trying to open a bank account on my own without so called "introducers"

I communicated with them and they can open an account to local individuals and local companies. They can open to foreigners individual only ( not companies). For foreign individuals you need to come in Cyprus in person. In addition the bank prefer individuals that are Europeans.

I was rejected because they do not have IBU and because I get money from Playstore (Google, Ireland). But I live in Cyprus, child goes to school.
