Who has been using The Kingdom bank ?

Hi all, Update -- Kingdom Bank was able to resolve the initial test transfer I did from Wise and they provided an explanation of how this situation was resolved. To clarify, I did use Wise's local bank transfer option which (I presume) means it's a bank within the EU but I might have used the...

Who has been using The Kingdom bank ?

I did receive an explanation this morning from my account rep that their dedicated IBAN is actually only for accepting SEPA Euro IBAN payments. For international payments, clients will have to use Kingdom Bank's shared/pooled IBAN. I am in contact with Wise to get the original payment returned...

Who has been using The Kingdom bank ?

I just recently opened up an account with them including a dedicated IBAN. I did a test transfer of 40 euros from a Canadian Wise account to the Lithuanian IBAN setup for me. The transfer has been stuck for the last 3 business days. I will update here as this situation develops lol.

Where are you going after the UAE?

I believe there are some countries that won't tax you on foreign-earned income such as HK. It's just another possibly useful addition to your stack. For transfer pricing, I guess it depends on how you structure the other company outside of UAE, they may not technically be 'associated'. But yes...

Where are you going after the UAE?

Hmm, I guess this still leaves room for some "consulting" or other service-related fees you can invoice from one of your other companies to your UAE company to help reduce the profits below the CIT threshold.

Where are you going after the UAE?

Thanks for clarifying. Regarding GAAR, I think the strategy you mentioned could work to make use of "bonus" pay and dividends, etc. in addition to salaried pay to effectively reduce the CIT. I think this does start to spell the beginning of tax-free in UAE though. Eventually, they will probably...

Where are you going after the UAE?

Thanks for clarifying your reasoning and rationale. @lacomaco, I think @JustAnotherNomad is referring to his PIT maybe possibly due to his visa type being a freelancer? I'm not entirely sure how the tax structuring works for that freelance model in particular, but I am in FZ as LLC. Since they...
