Switzerland vs Singapore vs Hong Kong Tax Set up for Foreign income?

Thanks Marzio. In my simple case, entire company would consist of secretary and nominee director in SG (required by law) and me (100% shareholder resident in Dubai) paying myself everything after expenses. I would be managing the company. Would it work?

Thank you for the interesting topic. I'm in somewhat similar situation (not e-commerce though) and now I'm seriously considering incorporating in Singapore. Do we known for a FACT that Dubai doesn't report to your home country your properties and bank accounts with them if you have golden visa?

My understanding is that if you receive salary then you won't need ejari based on the language in the article 4 of the decision 85 as well as required documents when visiting FTA's TRC website. It shows: 2. Applicant is a natural person spent in the UAE less than 183, and equal or more than 90...

    Tax residency question

My experience with the UAE is that it's always confusing so I totally understand you. You can always be on the safe side and just rent for 1 year in Sharjah for like AED10k.

    Tax residency question

I would disagree with bnpsu based on the official document you shared. The document says meets any of the following: a. He has a Permanent Place of Residence in the State. b. He carries on an employment or Business in the State. My understanding is that since you are employed by your FZCO you...

Any country in Europe to rent small apartment online without living there?

In Croatia as well, I was told that the police officer will come to visit and make sure that I'm there for permanent residency. Police might speak with neighbors as well. I believe they don't check for temporary residency. That's why I gave up on it :P

UAE clarification of Freezone Qualifying Income

They probably will go for income tax. I think that they believe Dubai and the UAE is such a great place that it's worth it to pay taxes there. Although I don't understand why would someone pay income tax in a state where you don't have public schools, public healthcare nor pensions. At least for...

Bank/EMI with 4%+ yield on savings?

I'm not sure if those yields at IBKR are considered as interest in a bank's savings account (which is 0), I think it's not because it's a broker account and subject to 30%. Someone who parks more than $10k with IBKR can check for us although you don't get the full yield until $100k parked.

Question Cheapest incorporation + maintenance offshore company

Good luck with your journey and just as a heads up be prepared to change plans. If you went with either Romania or UAE In the last 1-2 years you would have to adapt. Question Cheapest incorporation + maintenance offshore company

UAE is in a strange place now with CIT introduced and no one knowing for sure what the obligations will be. If you need a really clean record maybe go Romanian path or wait a bit to see what are the implications of the new rules in the UAE.
