Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

I am not a tax resident in China but still I would rather the Chinese government does not get notified and eventually I would like to acquire citizenship somewhere else. Also, I will not go there for CNY and I'm not going there to visit the family any time soon.

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

That makes sense. I guess I will need to learn Spanish to suvive there. I will try to talk with them. Thank you for the reassurance.

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

Thank you. I have contacted a few banks in North Macedon but none of them allows remote opening. Thank you so much. It's such a shame small law boutiques cannot usually give legal advice in English. Bigger law firms normally are a lot more expensive and not so personal. I doubt they would care...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

I am afraid I don't speak Spanish at all. I have been meaning to learn but has never started yet. I was counting on the lawyers speaking English.

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

Thank you. That sounds reassuring. An address of stay seems difficult to get without physical presence. Do you happen to know any competent and affordable paraguayan immigration lawyers? Bosnia and Herzegovina could be an option in this respect but from my friend's experience, it's almost...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

Normally the following process is carried out in place of the apostille: 1. Documents certified by Chinese local notary offices, 2. Certification of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, 3. Certification of the Embassy of the respective country. It seems impossibke...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

True. In fact, I have been meaning to apply for residency in Paraguay but there are no diplomatic relations between our countries (I am a Chinese citizen-PRC) and the two countries are not on good terms. To make matters even worse, China is not a member of the Hague Apostille Agreement. So I do...

I see. I will forget about TRNC then. ;) Nothing terrible like that. I am just cautious.

Thank you. I will look into it. How is your experience with trnc? Do they allow remote opening as a non-resident foreign citizen? I read in the following article that it is impossble to transfer funds to another country. Is this still true...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

I am not claiming support for unemployed and never will. The taxation in Serbia for freelancer is indeed horrible but that's not the main reason for not disclosing the freelancing work since the amount earned is insignificant. Montenegro is joining CRS by 2023 so it seems pointless.

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

Thank you all for your reply. The business itself is not illegal but this problem is that I am claiming unemployed and taxes are not paid for this freelancing work. Great information. I will try Armenia and North Macedonia. Do you know any reliable georgian banks that allow remote opening for...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

I am working on getting my affairs in order which takes time. Now I need a quick fix. I am a Serbian resident and a Chinese citizen. For now, the account will only be used to receive payment in pounds from one UK company for my occasional freelancing work, most likely only a few thousand pounds...

Reliable banks in non-CRS countries that allow remote opening for foreign citizens

Which of the following non-CRS countries would be the best choice to open a bank account-Armenia, Belarus, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Mongolia, North Macedonia, Palau, Papua New Guinea, Paraguay? And which reliable banks in these countries allow remote opening for foreign...

Open US bank account remotely as foreign citizens without US residence, SSN

Mine is New Zealand PayPal account. I am a Serbian citizen. With Zenus, cards are not available in Serbia. Also, the monthly membership seems expensive since I just want to spend my PayPal balance with this account. Last edited: Jun 1, 2022
