There is no such thing as residence permit. If you mean permanent residency, it's a different thing and not related to your business. If you have a business already, i would recommend to apply for the 5 year DTV visa for the purpose of remote work.

I have just check Standard Chartered, they have a nice page on Non-res FC Deposit account, but no link to signup for one. Do any of these bank allow online registration?
