I'm totally down for true documents and I always use only true ones but I think you overestimate Wise technologies to check this.
I have many utility bills that were just "printed" from DOC file to PDF with very default fonts, so I believe you can edit them in PDF editor. It would look...
So it seems I passed the verification. They don't tell you did but I discovered yesterday that they suspended my payment with comment "we're verifying documents". And it got unblocked only today. It never took so long before.
To be honest, I pooped my pants because basically they suspended my...
Why do you think you cannot have non-US trading address? It looks okay according their explanations in the support portal. (https://wise.com/help/articles/2969315/how-does-wise-verify-my-business-address)
For example, I presume I can rent a coworking space in Barcelona and ask landlord to make...
Also I found https://www.northwestregisteredagent.com/business-address/virtual-office, so they can provide a vritual office and the lease aggreament.
Would this works or Wise is enough smart to understand that it's a vritual office?
Yeah but that address would bear my friend's name, not my company. Is jspaint the only solution for that? (taking into account that I have 22 left to resolve it)
Actually I can. But it's werid: they do have business registration documents (I submiited them to open the account). So I'm thinking they really want me to show something more fresh. Not sure here though.
Also, any reg documents and any bank statement would have US business address and it's not...
Hi all!
I have a business account in Wise registered for my US LLC (single member) for almost 2 years.
I'm a resident of Spain.
Wise asked me to verify trading address of business and I'm not really sure what to show them.
I already tried to submit ID of Spain residence with my Spanish address...
Mercury and other 5-6 EMIs rejected me in 2022.
I will try with TD, thank you!
Btw, do you think that I would get more luck in classic banks by opening business account in person rather than doing it with EMIs? (taking in consideration my Russian citizenship)
With ITIN, are we talking about classic banks, not EMI ones?
If so, do you have some bank on your mind to try out?
EMI solutions do not work for me unfortunately as I have Russian citizenship, however I'm resident of Spain for a long time.
Ok, what if I already have Wise bank account and an account statement from them with my mailroom address. Would it work too?
Just to not wait 28 days and be able to make it within a single trip to US.
If I'm an alien and would travel in US in order to open business bank account for US LLC, how can I confirm my physical US address?
I have a virtual mailbox from Mailroom that allows to receive regular mail (they scan it), would it be enough?
And yes, I do have ITIN.
If I have Russian residency, will old-style US banks open a business account for my US LLC if I would visit them personally?
In case of EMI, that's almost impossible.
Of course, they will give your a temporal residence card.
This a nonsense if your home country is Russia :) There is almost no SWIFT, most of banks are sanctioned.
However, I'd like to know if it's possible within Europe, Spain in my case. I tried to do this in one of the biggest banks, BBVA...
@Vilgelm I'm Russian with EU residence.
So I could only open an account for my US LLC only at Wise. Just never show your passport during KYC process. I'm not sure if there is an option to show Georigian residency card to them but they def have an option to upload EU card.
Let us know if you will...
Do you mean there are EMIs / classic banks which can open business account for US LLC? Do you have something on mind?
Yes, I know, but as US alient and being registered in Delaware, the company has 0% corporate tax. I just pay personal tax in Spain from US LLC income. Any other jurisdictions...
I could open the business account only at Wise but they do not have virtual cards now.
Tried to apply at trulyfinancial, TryNovel, Mercury, Brex and couple of others but all my applications were rejected. I believe it's because of Russian passport. At Wise there is an option to submit European...
