    Time to buy some Watches.

Not all people buy online such things. Many want to pay cash. "As of January 2025, the retail price of the stainless steel Rolex Cosmograph Daytona (reference 126500LN) is approximately €16,000." If you get it for 16k and resell for 30k, why bad margin?

    Time to buy some Watches.

Why I got initially interested in this topic is that I have a couple of friends who all the time buy Rolexes for themselves and their wives and they always buy them from some resellers paying them 10-15k over the original price. For example, the steel Daytona is around 25K and they pay 40-41 for...

Well there are no problems to purchase Breitling, they are everywhere. So it will not be good for reselling. But thanks for the offer :)

These two sentences are quite controversal, or am I wrong? :) If it is down by 20% now, why can't the price rise later? I am ready to wait 1 year, no need to flip it the next day.

We were talking about the content of the items, not about the rarity. Of course mona lisa is one of a kind, nobody is an idiot to deny that. You are just not in the target audience for lux watches, you don't care about them. Other people wear them openly to flex and show they are kind of "rich".

Once again thank you for sharing this valuable info on buying watches. And what about selling them? I am sure you have had an experience with that? Do you mostly sell to your private circle of friends/clients? Or you go online to Chrono or else? How does that work best for you?

Yeah, I know, but one should start with something, right? Plus it is not easy to get 100k-400k around the countries to pay for them. I have not dealed with such payments before.

Yes, that was the only place where they told me they have "some stock". But they didn't want to say on the phone what they got and for how much. And they don't take cash. But they definitely have smth. Unfortunately I am not. That's why I wanted to get Rolexes. Because everyone I know who has...

How come you decided I do that? I gave an example that people sell their kidneys to buy iphones. Which might be super useless to you and others will die for them. And it happened in China, not Japan. :)

From what I have read Patek and Audemars add value better with time. They are more expensive to enter though.

It is all about the Personal Opinion. Someone will die for Mona Lisa. Someone will die for Rolex and doesn't even know Mona Lisa exists. More people will die for Rolex. Like people sell kidleys for iPhones LOL. Let's monetize it. Unfortunately I can't resell Mona Lisa. (I wish I could. :D )

Well because it's cost rises. just as an investment. I donno how much it cost Da Vinci to draw Mona Lisa, those paints didn't cost much. But it costs probably 1B now :)

Yeah I hate to wait 1-2 years to have the honor to give them 10k :) Want to buy it now.

Hey guys, I started to think about buying some luxury watches. The goal is to keep them for 3-5 years and then resell. Or maybe keep them further if they pick up more value and then sell and retire LOL Has anyone been investing into the watches? Have you been buying new or used ones? I am...

Are you fine that the value of QQQY is dropping so fast? It is down by 50% last year. Do you estimate your gain as dividends over the loss of the value? And you will exit this product as soon as the gain becomes negative or under the set threshold? What is your strategy please?

Thank you so much for the detailed answer. Do you invest in any kind of these funds please? And what do you mean that the fund blows up? It just stops paying or the shares go to zero value rapidly in one day?

Guys, what do you think about these ETFs - they give some nice yields like 50-100% per year. But they are all new kids on the block and there's short history. The price on these three is not dropping too much over the last 6 months. YieldMax NVDA Option Income Strategy ETF (NVDY) YieldMax...
