Why is Lithuania popular for EMIs?

It just occurred to me that while combing through many online wallet services and debit card providers, many of them are using a Lithuania EMI as their partner. What makes Lithuania in particular a good place for EMIs to incorporate in, as opposed to other EU countries?

Free residence permit on the table: Mother Russia welcomes you

Yeah, my point was just that I don't really like the things that Putin is up to these days, but I can understand why some people would want to use this residence scheme.

Free residence permit on the table: Mother Russia welcomes you

Actually I am American so I would obviously never defend whatever Russia is doing. I'm just stating my opinion. I also know that going to Russia is not ideal at all, especially since the Russian banking system has to work with sanctions now. Personally I would not advise anyone to do this...

Free residence permit on the table: Mother Russia welcomes you

I'm guessing people in third-world countries and in particular sanctioned nations like Cuba who otherwise have no chance of gaining entry into the financial system are jumping at this opportunity. Well, it's better than nothing.

Banks that accept incoming wire transfers with mismatched beneficiary name

It doesn't make sense for a company to be using a personal account if it is incorporated. If it's not actually incorporated then you could guess that it's a single guy trying to get B2B payments to his personal account. Would that not seem suspicious to his bank?

Easy ways to get a US address

Nope, not in the US currently, but I'd imagine that the whole thing would go smoothly if I just visited a branch to apply there, right?

Easy ways to get a US address

Some feedback on this. I just attempted to open a Capital One 360 online account. Gave them the last residential address that I had, as well as the SSN and other info, as well as a US VoIP number I had purchased. They didn't ask for ID or proof of address to be uploaded anywhere, but they did...

Which tools can track Bitcoin transactions and identify if they're received on Kraken, Binance, or CoinGate?

No, that was just a joke. You cannot put your real name on crypto transactions except for the ones done from an exchange.

I tried opening a US business account in 18 EMIs, here's the result

Nice findings. But what happened to all those Pending application EMIs? They can't keep it like that forever.

Easy ways to get a US address

Yes I live there. Those are actually some really good ideas, but I don't (currently) have any US partners yet. It might be something for me to look into though. I don't need it for anything else special, just to get the cards and stuff forwarded really like you mentioned. Where I live, I can...

Dual Citizenship: What's the Real Advantage of Holding Two Passports?

By the way, some countries like Turkey will actually interrogate you at the airport if they find that you have multiple passports. I found out at Wikileaks. It is useful if you're from a country that has very limited financial service, like any sanctioned country. Or if you would like to more...

Easy ways to get a US address

I'm continuing this discussion in a new thread because now it is related to a different topic. A couple days ago, I asked about setting up e-commerce payouts as a US expat. I was advised that it would be easier if I used US providers. For example: Now obviously, if you want to use US banks...

Trying to setup an e-commerce store and payouts

I'm wondering if these are one-time payments or recurring. If you're able to tell me that, I would appreciate it, otherwise disregard this. I can spend about $1000, maybe $2000 if the BTC bull run comes early. Of course, depending on the offers available, I can adjust this.

Trying to setup an e-commerce store and payouts

I'm back, this time with a different issue. These days I have been looking into setting up a store, like WooCommerce, Shopify, Etsy and those sort of things, but I have always ran into one problem - payouts. You see, I am living inside a third-world country, where payouts to said place are not...

Anonymous Virtual Prepaid Cards (purchase with crypto)

Damn. Unfortunately I am not sure whether we can delete or edit our own posts in Mentor Group Gold. In the Resource DB it does list a VCC website called vcc.is. That other site is not in the DB. I haven't tried that one either, but they seem to have only Visa & MasterCard & some AmEx cards at...

I want to mention that this should be removed from the listing because they are shutting down: Letter from our CEO Kristina If you go to the homepage of Bitwala it redirects to this.

Anonymous Virtual Prepaid Cards (purchase with crypto)

But I have not used it yet so I do not know whether it is legit or scam. It looks suspicious though. So if it turns out to be a scam I will delete this link. Last edited by a moderator: Nov 1, 2022

Anonymous Virtual Prepaid Cards (purchase with crypto)

It seems that the only cards they have in stock right now require registration of address before you can use them. Since you must use a USA IP address to register the address, you can use Tor Browser and change the circuit untl you get a working US exit node.
