As mentioned, new to all this, so please forgive me :) I read here and there that it is not possible to get a merchant account for a offshore company, now I'm wondering if that's true? Why can't it be possible t o incorporate a offshore company, say BVI or Seychelles, and open a merchant...

I've thought of creating a Seychelles company and opening a bank account in Gibraltar (Barclays) then I could carry the cheque with me to the bank as I live nearby and the fees are low. Will EU Tax Savings apply as well in Gibraltar as the bank in Cyprus?? (I mean what I've red here...
