    Wise is now CRS compliant

Wise is a registered bank but it holds all money in the same account, so having an account on wise doesn't mean you get reported. Wise itself gets reported. This is clearly explained with wise cashback: Do you share personal information with the tax authorities? No. Wise Europe files a monthly...

    Wise is now CRS compliant

Wise policy has not changed and will not report to tax authorities unless you move above a certain threshold of money, as all transactions above a certain thresold needs to be reported, I think it is 10k euro. Re Identification is normal and it's part of KYC, I would not see anything strange...

St. Barths is a place where you could certainly live 5 years with lots of money, if you like the vibe. You do 7 months in St. Barths ( november to may ) and 5 months in Ibiza ( June to october ). You don't get bored for sure and it's beautiful.

Moving to UAE because of crazy taxes in my country (France) - Misc questions

Every country has a hard limit which doesn't trigger any signal to the tax authority, in Italy is 10k euro for a wire. If you have a contract to do a website from your old company to the new one, that would be a first way to move some money to the new company. As long as there is a contract is...

So every country have a different legislation on what happens to people moving to blacklisted ( for people ) countries, but generally for a certain amount of years, maybe 3, it depends, you have to prove the fiscal agency that you were resident in duabi and not the opposite IF THEY INVESTIGATE...

Buy Real Estate in Dubai - Experiences? Yield?

Well it's kind of hard that it ends in disaster, if you think about it. The first house is the house where you live in. The second house might be the riskiest, but the worst it can probably happen is that you have to sell it. Sure, if you lose your job it's an issue, nothing is risk free. What I...

Buy Real Estate in Dubai - Experiences? Yield?

Well as usual it all depends on how you buy the property and how you reinvest. I'll make an example with a friend of mine who 22 years ago started working in London as a civil engineer coming from a poor family: he started renting a room and putting money away until he was able to buy a house...

Buy Real Estate in Dubai - Experiences? Yield?

Buy Real Estate in Dubai - Experiences? Yield?

Currently Dubai properties have crazy high prices because all the russian money is there. In general I think that it always depend on what you buy and at what price you buy it: I've been in Dubai for 3 years and I would still not be able to decide where to buy a property. It's true that there is...

Swedish company relocation - To where? (12M € turnover, 3M € yearly profits)

I agree, and there are lots of things to consider of course, a stupid example is that in Sweden fleeing from your taxes doesn't make you a hero, your reputation would suffer ( while in Italy you are definitely a hero :D ). So whatever you choose to do must fit with your life goals. I make an...

Swedish company relocation - To where? (12M € turnover, 3M € yearly profits)

since everybody is saying is opinion, I will say my opinion too: - since you have done things by the book and the Swedish governement has a lot to lose from your company, expect A LOT of controls if you move your company outside of the country. You are valuable to them and they will try...

    Loyal bank in liquidation/Icard

in any case a UAE resident is a UAE resident, whether you spand 2 days or 10 months. Of course if they have reason to believe that you are not resident in the UAE but you are residnet somewhere else, they can make checks and report you. A UAE bank is always safer in this regard.

Private bank requesting tax residence certificate

You will find plenty of lawyers in Dubai which will claim this and steal you some money, you just have to go out and ask....and Dubai wants you to do business, that's why with 2 days a year in the emirate you can avoid CRS. But you will not get a TRC for free, they also want you to spend money...

Private bank requesting tax residence certificate

I gues you are refrring to this: 1. If his usual or primary place of residence and the centre of his financial and personal interests are in the State, or he meets the conditions and criteria determined by a decision from the Minister. As I said, the minister can decide what he wants, this is...

Private bank requesting tax residence certificate

I totally understood what you are asking but it's not possible, it doesn't work that way. when you submit a request for the TRC you must submit also data from immigration that demonstrates that you have been in the country. If they issued TRC without you being in the country, TRCs would be...
