    Please help a nomad

This was a proposal from a previous government. This never went into affect. So currently it's still 0% tax on profits, although you better have all the paper trail ready in case of cashing out large amounts. Track record of the current government is mostly to increase taxes and add taxes where...

Second Passport : What do you think about Antigua-and-Barbuda Citizenship?

Yes, that's a scary restriction! I imagine any country would do that when facing deficit of soldiers thought.

Second Passport : What do you think about Antigua-and-Barbuda Citizenship?

Given US and EU crackdown on Caribbean passports, do you also think it's not a good passport to have as a plan b?

    EU Asset Registry

there's no point in dying for any country in the world, for they are essentially corporations, and you are merely a barcode number There I fixed it for you. :) Another potential consideration is to not be just a barcode number, connect and befriend influential people in politics.

Foreign LLC or other structure for Europoors

This means I'd be a single-member owner of a company abroad utilizing an IP regime. The company would receive funds from licensing that software, and I'd be able to pay myself with dividends for example? I myself (as a solepropritoership) would invoice the company that purchased the license for...

Foreign LLC or other structure for Europoors

I'm located in Slovenia, working via solepropritoership. Which was a fairly decent structure in the past but has changed drastically last year (basically 100% increase in tax for for my case) and the government recently prepared a draft which doesn't allow income of more than 60k / year using...

Foreign LLC or other structure for Europoors

I've read many threads already and am fighting to reject how difficult it has become to protect your assets from insanely high taxes. Is it even possible for someone making around $100-150k annually to form a structure that would protect him against insane high taxes (~70%). Is literally the...

Hold Bitcoin and acquire Portuguese/EU Citizenship (Golden Visa path)

I just checked again it seems they changed the law so they are not taxed if you hold for longer than 1 year. Last I was checking (few years ago) they didn't get taxed because they weren't considered currencies or financial assets meaning they couldn't be taxed. Good to know!

Hold Bitcoin and acquire Portuguese/EU Citizenship (Golden Visa path)

Problem with their crypto capital gains "incentive" is that it's not intentional but rather a loop hole that hasn't been filled yet.

Hold Bitcoin and acquire Portuguese/EU Citizenship (Golden Visa path)

Seems like an interesting option. You invest 500k into the fund which is eligible for a Golden Visa program in PT. It's not yet clear to me if it's possible to invest using Bitcoin directly or if you must go via fiat route. Here's the catch; 10% performance fee 2% annual fee (10k / year)...

Understanding the Full Scope of Permanent Establishment Regulations

Thank you, this is the information I was looking for. I wasn't sure if PE applies only to taxes or other things as well. I thought so, but was in disbelief and wanted to clarify this a bit more before talking to a professional regarding what would make sense.

Understanding the Full Scope of Permanent Establishment Regulations

Country A is Slovenia, country B can be whichever country where one can get access to banking. Not sure if these details are enough to draw a rough picture. Here is some info about Slovenia: - https://thebanks.eu/countries/Slovenia/taxation - Slovenia - Corporate - Corporate residence -...

Understanding the Full Scope of Permanent Establishment Regulations

Appreciate the reply gh0p! The country I'm a tax resident is in EU, and I'd be a sole owner and a director. Exactly, I'm aware of this and would like to know how far reaching the PE rule is in case company in country B get assigned residency of country A where I'm a tax resident. Does it apply...

Understanding the Full Scope of Permanent Establishment Regulations

Hi, I'm seeking more information on the topic of Permanent Establishment (PE) and its implications. If I am a tax resident of Country A and open an offshore company in Country B, I understand that by law, I must report the ownership of the company in Country B to the authorities in Country A...
