    Portugal NRH and Estonian company

This I have completely missed. I only heard about this for owning an actual company, not on personal income. Will this also work for a self-published writer, and how long will I have to stay in Cyprus? Are there any caps between or hidden fees?

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

I would be wary of buying that even if it is "cheap". Romania has a lot of gypsies and you don't want to live in a neighborhood with them. You will inhale the stench of burned tires 24/7 and keep anything of value indoors. This includes even something as silly as car tires or some iron...

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

Is Denmark a part of these countries that will try this? In my situation will that be an advantage? I got help from a lawyer firm to receive this "certificate de inregistrare" Or temporary residence permit. I also got a CNP code. But they still asked for a permanent address. Was it that you...

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

How would this work taxation-wise? Thanks for this info. I have never heard of this before. What about Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia and Hungary, do you know if they also have the same regulations? Or where can I find this out by myself, if possible? I haven't had much luck in emailing banks here...

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

And will this work if I show them my temporary resident permit from Romania? Then they won't open it. I have tried with three different banks, in addition to the law firm that needed that info when forming the company. I believe it's some sort of stupid regulation they have.

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

From what I understand it's very difficult to open a bank without being a resident or without any connections to that country. Otherwise, I wouldn't have minded driving down to either Bulgaria or Hungary if that was the case.

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

But I will be paying taxes here in Romania and not in my home country, so that doesn't make any sense.

Why do Romanian banks ask for an address?

I moved to Romania two months ago. Even if I rent an apartment here and have a temporary residence permit, all the banks have asked for another address in my home country. Even if I told them, I don't even live there, they just said it didn't matter. Even when the lawyer firm formed the company...

    Buy USD cash?

It will either be RON or EUR. The bank I have here in Romania ING only provides a checking account with USD but they won't allow me to withdraw it. As if there is something as convincing as digits on a screen. Won't most exchanges take a lot in fees and with shady exchange rates? I've never...

    Buy USD cash?

Hello, I currently live in Romania. Does anyone here know the cheapest and easiest way to buy USD? I don't want digits on a computer screen but actual cash. Not a big amount around 10 000 - 20 000

Do EU countries inform each other where you have moved?

What do you mean by "my thought" ? Do they request a bank statement or not? If that's the case then you might as well go to the neighboring country and use the last transactions at some restaurants etc and make it seem you were just on a vacation.

This I would also like to know since I do own a bank in the country of my citizenship.

Do EU countries inform each other where you have moved?

I have currently moved from one EU country to another. I want to cut as many ties as possible with my home country, but I do wonder, will the country I have moved to, inform my home country? Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge regarding this? Also, my home country is not my country...

anyone here with experience running a company in Hungary?

That's what I hate when a country might have low corporate tax or something else, but then there is that catch that no one tells you about till the very end.

    Advice for a self-published writer

Are you talking about people civilians in Budapest or bureaucrats? I've met many friendly people in their capital. I couldn't find any signs of disliking foreigners. And calling Orban a dictator is a bit far-fetched.

anyone here with experience running a company in Hungary?

I've traveled across Eastern Europe and have been visiting every country except for Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro. I speak of my own personal experience, but even statistics and the rising crime rate agree with what I'm saying and what I have experienced
